Announcing a New Website Feature

Communications, in partnership with Events Management and L&IT, is pleased to announce that the website now includes a comprehensive University calendar of events. https://calendar.bucknell.edu/ The new feature can be accessed via the calendar menu item in the top navigation bar. The calendar allows filtering by a variety of subjects and event types and includes the ability to add campus events directly to your Google calendar. There will be additional enhancements to the calendar in the coming months. To learn more about these features, please visit our web blog at http://siteredesign.blogs.bucknell.edu. Announcing Two New Website Features!

The web team is excited to announce two great new website features that have been requested by many campus partners. The first release prioritizes the order of faculty chairs and academic assistants within faculty listing pages. This enhancement will allow you to quickly and easily find the chairs and academic assistants on each department’s faculty and staff page. You’ll find them at the top of the listing for easy contact. Our writers, web team and photographer are putting the finishing touches on the first phase of the new site for the big reveal. Restrictions on Updates to Current Webpages

While Communications continues to focus on building out the new University website, please note that we can make only the most critical, time-sensitive updates to the current site. Critical updates include information that is essential to University functions over the summer months. Behind the Scenes: Meet Shawn Preisz!

Shawn Preisz, associate director of web & digital communications, joined Bucknell in March and hit the ground running at an exciting time for bucknell.edu. As leader of the digital communications team, he is responsible for the successful implementation of the newly redesigned website. After launch, he will focus on maximizing Drupal, our new content management system, and will continually add features, functionality and integrations to support our bucknell.edu users.
